Cancer Concern Association to host charity variety shows |24 January 2013

The proceeds collected from the two shows will go towards helping the association in promoting and introducing, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, a vaccine against cervical cancer in Seychelles.

The show will be held at the International Conference Centre (ICCS) on Saturday January 26 starting at 7.30pm and on Sunday January 27 starting at 4.30pm.

Tickets for the Saturday evening show cost R200 apiece while for the Sunday afternoon show tickets are being sold at R150 only.

A spokesperson for the CCA says the aim of hosting the show over two days is to give the maximum number of people to take part and contribute towards a very important cause.

“This initiative is highly commended and the CCA is encouraging more ordinary people to take cancer issues seriously. The CCA’s motto this year is ‘Together it is possible’ and we are offering you this opportunity to be part of this noble cause,” says the spokesperson.

The accompanying band for the show is Zenith and among the popular artists who will be taking part are Danny and David Deltel, Antoinette, Angelique, Lyndsay, Steffie, to name but some.

It is worth noting that there will be a large variety of music to suit the tastes and ages of everyone who turn up.

Tickets for the show are already on sale at Ray’s Music Room in Victoria, with members of the association who can be reached on 2525928/2598841.
