They were assessing the residents’ needs in Au Cap, Anse Aux Pins, Pointe Larue and Cascade to see how the RCSS can help these people get back on track.

Through this assessment, the RCSS was able to identify the damages done to these homes, losses and the value of the residents’ belongings, among other things.

A bank account has also been opened by the RCSS for donations which will go towards helping those affected by the recent heavy rains and financial help is also being sought from overseas. Cheques must be made to the ‘RED CROSS SOCIETY OF SEYCHELLES’ and credited to account number 101069230 at Barclays Bank Seychelles.
