Seychelles’ carnival on USA’s Travel Talk Radio

Invited to cover the spectacular three-day carnival together with the largest group of journalists ever to be in Seychelles all at the same time coming from all corners of the world, Travel Talk Radio Show host Sandy Dhuyvetter has given her listeners a true insight into the carnival of Seychelles.

On numerous occasions, Sandy Dhuyvetter’s Travel Talk Radio Show has created the buzz about Seychelles as a go-to tourism destination.
The build-up for the Seychelles 2013 Carnaval International de Victoria on the new Travel Talk Radio placed the spotlight squarely on the Seychelles carnival.

The two-hour Travel Talk Radio Show which takes a look at tourism travel and lifestyle has given the listeners a gist of what to expect in the Seychelles carnival staged under the theme the melting pot of cultures.

Capturing the essence of the carnival held from February 8-10, Sandy Dhuyvetter highly recommended the Seychelles carnival to her listeners saying that 2013 “was even better” than she “thought it would be”.

“The carnival was a great opportunity for Seychelles. This is its third year. They brought in different countries. Brazil is the latest acquisition, and those Brazilians, especially those ladies, they were gorgeous,” said Ms Dhuyvetter.

The Travel Talk Radio Show news report also made mention of the renewal of the partnership agreement between Emirates and the Seychelles Tourism Board – an agreement signed on February 11, 2013 when all the international journalists were in Seychelles for the carnival.

Tourism and Culture Minister Alain St Ange said he was thrilled to see news about the carnival in Seychelles already on air, on television screens and in the written press.
“This is exactly why so many members of the press are in the country for the event they all want to cover. We are staging an event that has captured the imagination of the press and we need to keep the uniqueness of our carnival always in mind, because this is what continues to attract them. In return, we gain maximum visibility for our country and for its tourism industry,” said Minister St Ange.
