Polish investors take part in 10-day sailing regatta |20 March 2013

For the past ten years the businessmen have been sailing in the Caribbean and the Adriatic Sea, but this year Bat O Bleau, a Belgian-based yacht ownership and management company, has sent the group to Seychelles, hosted by the local branch of the Bat O Bleau group of companies.

The regatta began last week Saturday, and the tour included stops at Eden Island, Anse Royale, Praslin and La Digue. Six yachts in total were hired out for the regatta, and the competition involved various elements, such as cooking, sailing, diving, fishing and even a football match which was held on La Digue.

“We hosted them to a Creole night at the Chilli Bar, and this is where we also conducted the prize-giving ceremony,” said Peter Roselie, director of Bat O Bleau in Seychelles.
“The Polish businessmen have investments in many countries and we hope that they will host their regatta in Seychelles again next year.

“The management of Bat O Bleau would like to thank everybody who have given their support in hosting our guests, and special thanks go out to Elite Club in this regard.”
