• Be prepared and keep meetings short
• Plan your workload and responsibilities with an action plan or diary
• Make sure you concentrate on the right things – decide on work priorities
• Tackle the most urgent tasks first and prioritise your work list
• Avoid excessive workloads – delegate easier tasks to the rest of your team
• Check how you really spend your time by compiling a daily activity log
• Working hours that have been unproductive mean valuable hours wasted
• Set goals and strategies and set deadlines for your goals
• Monitor your progress by giving yourself realistic deadlines and assessing your progress.
