This week in the National Assembly-Members to debate Public Enterprise Monitoring Commission Bill, 2013 |26 March 2013

The Public Enterprise Monitoring Commission Bill, 2013 will be presented to the National Assembly today by the Minister for Finance, Trade and Investment Pierre Laporte.

The Minister for Health Mitcy Larue will be present during question time to respond to members’ queries on health-related issues like the prevalence of thread worm and other micro-organisms affecting both adults and children on La Digue, the redevelopment of the old Baie Ste Anne hospital site on Praslin and the need for an ambulance to be stationed full-time at the Anse Aux Pins health centre.

Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Paul Adam will also be present to answer a Private Notice Question (PNQ) by the Leader of Opposition David Pierre who wants to know the government’s position on the request for political asylum in Seychelles by the Tunisian national Sakhr El Matri.
