As general manager Mrs Berthelot will also be a non-executive member of the Board of Seychelles Breweries Ltd.

A press release from Seychelles Breweries Limited writes that Mrs Berthelot is an impressive leader with a distinguished career in Diageo and the industry.
It adds that she will bring “valuable experience and insights to our business”.

Mrs Berthelot will take over as general manager on May 1, 2013 ensuring a smooth transition into the role.

The release adds that the senior role within Diageo plc to be taken by Mr Lucas, a Seychellois, will involve multiple markets effective July 1, 2013.

His new appointment will be subject to a future announcement.

The chairman and the board of Seychelles Breweries Ltd have thanked Mr Lucas for his contribution to the business, and warmly welcomed Mrs Berthelot to the business and to Seychelles.
