Indian Association concludes project at Port Glaud primary school |10 April 2013
Less than nine months later, the association has completed all projects outlined in the school’s proposal and to mark this great achievement a ceremony was held at the Port Glaud primary school on Wednesday March 27, 2013 in the presence of the Minister for Education Macsuzy Mondon and principal secretary Merida Delcy, vice-chairperson of the Indian Association Ramu Pillay, members of the association, teachers, students and parents.
Through the MoU, the Indian Association of Seychelles facilitated numerous projects at the Port Glaud primary school to improve its education facilities. The association also bought education materials for the school.
Through this partnership, the school has benefited greatly in being able to realise its projects and activities geared towards enhancing the pupils’ learning experience and provide a more conducive school environment.
It is to be noted that Port Glaud primary school’s results have shown considerable improvement for 2012 as compared to previous years. The Ministry of Education, Port Glaud school management, students and teachers have expressed their sincere thanks to the Indian Association of Seychelles.
