In the third division, Agrics appear to be struggling after losing their first four matches and will have to improve to move off the foot of the table, along with Plaisance and Bel Air who are also winless. Meanwhile at the top end, Mont Fleuri, Rude Boyz United and Beau Vallon are the early challengers. Mont Fleuri and Rude Boyz are locked on 10 points after three wins and a draw apiece, but the latter are leading the table on goal difference, after scoring an impressive 16 goals and conceding just one in four matches. Mont Fleuri have scored 14 and let in five.

In the Barclays league division two, things look a little tougher among the eight teams.

Former Land Marine Cup winners SMB are sitting in fourth place, unbeaten in two matches (a win and a draw for 4 points), while Foresters are the early leaders and yet to lose in four games (two wins and two draws for 8 points).

Newcomers to the division, Praslin-based outfit Revengers will be hoping to add to the tally of inner island clubs in the top flight next year by attempting to secure promotion at the first attempt. They have started inconsistently however, and lie in third place on four points in three games (a win, a draw and a loss).

Tigers are carrying the weight of the table with no point in two matches.
