International children’s friendship festival-Minister Adam wishes luck to young Seychelles talent team |20 April 2013

The team of 12 young people under the age of 14, who have been training hard in recent months under the guidance of Ambassador Erna Athanasius and her team, will be taking part in the festival and showcasing their respective talents to their peers.

On meeting the children, Minister Adam wished them well and congratulated them for using their skills and talents to fly the Seychelles flag high in their coming adventure:

“It is a great pleasure to see young people seize the opportunity to showcase their capabilities, become young ambassadors for our country, and show over 2,000 of their peers what Seychelles is about.”

The Ambassador for Women and Children Affairs, Dr Erna Athanasius, who is also the chair of the organising committee, launched a call for auditions in December last year and has since been engaged with the committee and the families of the finalists to organise various shows and fundraising activities.
