Montessori pre-school marks 16 years of success |04 June 2013
It was in May 1997 that the school opened its doors with ten kids. And these kids, who are now 17-18 years, were present at the gathering alongside Education Minister Macsuzy Mondon and other guests to mark the occasion.
In a small speech Lucy Talbot, the school’s director, thanked the parents for their full support and announced plans to enlarge the school to include a primary age group.
The guests present were pleased to hear the children perform songs and rhymes they have learnt at school.
The kids were overwhelmed when they sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to their school and cut the cake to celebrate its 16 years of achievements.
