Seychelles signs historic visa waiver with China |28 June 2013

This follows the signing of the visa waiver agreement between Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Paul Adam and Chinese Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, Xie Hangsheng, during a ceremony held at Maison Quéau de Quinssy during the vice-minister’s working visit earlier this year.

The waiver signed, which has come into force on June 26, allows for Seychellois passport holders of all types to enter China for a period of up to 30 days visa free.

The landmark visa waiver agreement with the People’s Republic of China has made Seychelles the first African country to have visa free travel for all passports with China.
