Round Table sponsors multi-purpose room at President’s Village

The hand-over of the cheque

Round Table chairman Vincent Kim-Koon handed over a cheque for R125,000 to First Lady and chairperson of the SCF, Natalie Michel, in a small ceremony yesterday at the SCF headquarters at Bel Eau.

The ceremony took place in the presence of the manager of the President’s Village, Francois Magloire, and other members of the Seychelles Round Table.

The multi purpose room will be used not only by the children at the President’s Village, but other children too.  The room will be used for rehearsal, recordings and other general musical and singing activities.

A group that will gain much from the room is ‘Les Rossignols’ Choir which comprise children from all the homes.

Children taking part in the annual ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ show will also be able to use the facility for rehearsals.

Mrs Michel thanked the Seychelles Round Table for its faithful collaboration towards the SCF.

Mr Kim-Koon said that the Seychelles Round Table looks forward to other future projects with the SCF.
