Seychelles’ beauty queen makes a splash in Italy |19 July 2013

Miss Gerry, with her island style, has captivated the Italian media as she transformed herself from the sleepy pretty beauty queen into the icon of the Italian designer world of beauty and style.

Alessandro Pindilli, the Seychelles tourism ambassador in Italy and who is himself the owner of a renown modelling agency in Italy and Europe, was behind the invitation for Miss Gerry to visit Italy as part of her preparations for the 2013 Miss World Pageant.

"We are proud to have played a part in the grooming sessions for Agnes Gerry. We are all so proud of her and we wish her well. She has captured the press in Italy and we will now follow her progress to the Miss World Pageant," said a representative of the Italian modeling agency.
