No visa needed for 30-day stay in China |19 October 2013

All Seychellois nationals travelling to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) do not require a visa if the duration of their stay does not exceed 30 days and they are in possession of a return ticket, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

If Seychelles nationals wish to stay for a longer period, study in the PRC or work in the territory of the PRC, procedures apply and they are required to obtain a valid visa from the embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Seychelles.

The ministry would also like to stress that Seychellois students currently holding 'student-visas' must renew their visas with the competent authority before leaving the PRC if they intend to return.
