Seychellois to perform in Magic Circus’ last show tomorrow |02 November 2013

Tourism and Culture Minister Alain St Ange has thanked the Magic Circus of Samoa to have included Seychelles on its itinerary at it toured the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands region.

Minister St Ange was accompanied by culture principal secretary Benjamine Rose, and Beryl Matatiken, the manager for events at the Seychelles Tourism Board, when he met Bruno Loyal of The Magic Circus of Samoa.

"We want to take this opportunity to thank you Bruno and your delegation. It was good having you in Seychelles and we can assure you that the people of Seychelles as a whole have appreciated your performances here. You are the first circus to stop in Seychelles and bring a new form of entertainment to our islands. We only hope that Seychelles will again feature on your itinerary when you are again in the region," said Minister St Ange.

Minister St Ange also requested that some Seychellois performers take part alongside the Samoa group in tomorrow’s show.

Seychellois Stephen Fred will perform alongside the rubber man, while local group Tingkapella will perform on stage in the ring of fire show. This will be during both the 2pm and 6pm shows.

"It is a golden opportunity to get our Seychellois to perform alongside the Samoa circus professionals. The Ministry of Tourism and Culture believes such opportunities open doors for our people," the minister added.
