Lady luck strikes again for Sheila Mendes |04 November 2013

Sheila Mendes is the winner of a radio quiz show hosted by PureFM radio station and she has won herself two return tickets to Sri Lanka.

She was presented with her tickets by Sandy Keller,  general manager of Vision Voyages – the general sales agent of Mihin Lanka/ Sri Lanka – in a brief ceremony at the Vision Voyages office in Ebrahim building in Victoria last Wednesday.

Ms Mendes and other radio listeners participated in the Flight Plan Radio quiz show held daily on Pure FM during the sunrise and kickback sessions.  The contestants were asked three questions on Seychelles, Sri Lanka and from other destinations that can be reached via Mihin Lanka, Sri Lanka’s national airline.

Listeners getting all three questions right entered a draw held live on PureFM on Friday October 25, 2013, where Ms Mendes came out as the winner.

Ms Mendes is a second time winner of air tickets, as some may recall she was the winner of the air tickets sponsored by Air Seychelles for the direct flight to Chennai.

“I am very pleased to be a winner once again; I don’t know who I will be taking with me on this trip. But I know it will be a surprise for whoever I take,” Ms Mendes said.

The airline has confirmed that it will be giving away two more air tickets during a similar radio quiz competition on PureFM.
