Inaugural Mihin Lanka flight expected here tomorrow |15 November 2013

Sri Lanka’s number one airline will tomorrow start flying between Colombo and Mahé, code shared with its twin airline Mihin Lanka.

Mihin Lanka’s inaugural flight to Seychelles will arrive tomorrow at 4.10pm and the plane which has a capacity to carry 180 passengers – all in the economy class – will leave one hour later.

SriLankan Airlines will connect Seychelles with two weekly three-and-a-half-hour flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Vision Voyages is the local travel agency which has been appointed as the general sales agents of SriLankan Airlines.

The collaboration by Mihin Lanka, with its decision to fly twice a week to the Seychelles islands will greatly improve cordial, tourism and business relations among the two island countries which will be beneficial to all concerned.

In operation since 2007, Mihin Lanka is a fast developing low cost carrier that aims to serve its passengers with unprecedented service levels and is the epitome of Sri Lankan hospitality.

Islanders of both nations will truly be able to benefit from Mihin Lanka’s venture which will connect the two destinations like never before.

Mihin Lanka code shares with its partner SriLankan Airlines on most routes. There are immediate connections from Colombo to numerous destinations including Mumbai, Chennai, Bangkok, Malaysia, Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai and the Maldives.
