Rotary Club’s lottery |30 November 2013

Who will be lucky this Christmas?

Lady luck is flying looking for the next lucky person to win a Renault Duster SUV. Will it be you?

The Rotary Club of Victoria is giving you the chance to own a SUV through a Christmas lottery that it has launched during a recent ceremony at the Golden Plate restaurant.

Lottery tickets costing R15 apiece are on sale at the usual outlets in Victoria and throughout the country and they are also available from members of the Rotary Club of Victoria.

The star prize, the Renault Duster SUV, is sponsored by Sun Motors and H. Savy Insurance will be offering the winner 50% discount on a comprehensive insurance policy.

There will be several other prizes that will be given away to the lucky winners such as a return ticket to any Air Seychelles destination, a laptop and six months free internet connection with Cable & Wireless just to name a few. There will be 24 prizes in total.

A unique feature of this year’s lottery is a discount scheme whereby the entire cost of the lottery ticket can be redeemed on spending SR100 or more at the outlets featured on the back of the ticket.

Members of the public will be able to redeem their tickets after the draw on Saturday December 28, 2013.

“I would like to warmly thank all our sponsors for providing the prizes and my fellow Rotarians who have helped in organising the lottery,” said Mario Rotolo, the club’s president, during the launch.

“This year we have almost R1.5 million worth of prizes to give away,” he noted.
The Rotary Club of Victoria uses the funds raised from its lottery to help the less fortunate and for other charitable gestures.

Mr Rotolo has launched an appeal to members of the public to buy the tickets as a way of support to the work that Rotary Club of Victoria is doing.
