Deadline extended for Ile Soleil bids |16 December 2013

The 2020DC has extended the deadline for submission of applications and bids for plots on Ile Soleil to Thursday January 23, 2014.

Initially the deadline was Monday December 23, 2013.

2020DC explained that the four additional weeks will allow all local commercial banks more time to fine-tune their loan packages for their respective clients who are interested in investing in a residential or commercial plot on Ile Soleil.

“The Ile Soleil project is the first of its kind in Seychelles and undoubtedly it has attracted a lot of interest from people wanting to invest in a plot of land to build their dream home or for entrepreneurs with a new business venture in mind, and for potential investors, having access to attractive financing options is key factor for the success of this project,” said Barry Faure, the chairman of 2020DC.

“Therefore, we have to allow our banking partners, especially the international ones, more time to finalise their internal formalities and come up with attractive offers for the benefit of customers who would like to invest in Ile Soleil, especially for those making such an investment for the first time,” added Mr Faure.

In the meantime, 2020DC and Switch, the marketing agency for Ile Soleil, will continue to work with the various individuals who have already expressed an interest to invest in Ile Soleil to ensure that all their respective documentation are in order and that they are fully conversant with all the terms and conditions when applying for a plot of land on Ile Soleil.

The Ile Soleil sales office located in Room 10, 2nd Floor at the ICCS, remains open for people wanting to find out more information about Ile Soleil.
