New lane on 5th June Avenue to be operational tomorrow |18 December 2013

Members of the public will as from tomorrow be able to start using the newly constructed lane on 5th  June Avenue, the  Seychelles Land Transport Agency (SLTA) has said.

Motorists going to the New Port and Roche Caïman via Bois de Rose Avenue can use the new constructed lane.

Vehicles going to the New Port will have to use the new road diversion through the ex-Children’s Playground and those coming from the New Port to the Le Chantier roundabout will have to use the same road diversion.

The existing junction linking Latanier Road to the Le Chantier roundabout will be closed.

Vehicles going towards Roche Caïman from New Port will use the existing Latanier Road and connect to the Bois de Rose Avenue as before.

The SLTA is calling on members of the public to take extra precaution when using these new roads until they are more familiarised with them.
