“Every child is important. Here in Seychelles we attach great importance to our children, especially those with certain disability. They are not really disabled as they have certain abilities too – they are children who can do lots of things. We are here to make sure they grow and develop well and make sure they can play their role in society in the future and contribute towards their country’s development,” said Minister Larue.

She concluded by thanking Airtel for organising the event and the parents for the good support given to their children so that they develop well, both physically and mentally.

Mr Sinha then welcomed the children and parents present and said that the afternoon belonged to children.

“I strongly believe our code of values is to give back as much as we can to society,” said Mr Sinha.

He felt very thankful to being among the children and added that the company will continue doing its best for the children and will continue to partner with the Ministry of Health in such events.

He concluded by wishing all the children a Merry Christmas and lots of success in their future.

Father Christmas then distributed gifts to all the children present.
