Added comfort for Centre d’Acceuil clients |17 January 2014

Centre d’Acceuil de La Rosière (Car) has received new sets of bed sheets and blankets which will help in boosting the comfort of its clients.

The donation, which comes from the G.S Pillay company, was handed over to Car’s director Jocelyn Florentine during a short ceremony yesterday at the centre.

Present for the ceremony were Designated Minister Vincent Meriton, who is also responsible for the  Ministry of Social Affairs, Community Development and Sports, member of the National Assembly for Roche Caïman Jeovana Charles, principal secretary for social affairs Linda William-Melanie, Bishop Denis Wiehe from the Catholic Diocese and other staff of Car.

Minister Meriton thanked the company for the donation which he said will be put to good use.

Bishop Wiehe also expressed words of thanks to G.S Pillay company and to the Ministry of Social Affairs, Community Development and Sports.

Thanking the contributors, Mrs Florentine said Car is touched by the gesture.
