Free email upgrade for Cable & Wireless customers |17 January 2014

Cable & Wireless’ (CWS) customers will soon enjoy an improved email experience as well as an increase in their quota to 500MB as the company moves to a new and upgraded email platform.
 
This is part of CWS’ commitment to continue improving services offered to customers in Seychelles.

“The 500MB quota is a totally free upgrade and we are happy that we are improving our service to offer even more value to our customers,” says marketing communications manager, David Deltel.

“We won’t stop there, of course - customers will enjoy so many more benefits which will be communicated to them in the coming weeks,” he adds.

The migration will be from today at 10pm until Sunday January 19 at 11.50pm and during that time customers’ email will not work via mail clients such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express and others.

“Customers can simply use our webmail service to access their emails in their internet browser at https://webmail.seychelles.net and if that is unsuccessful they can use http://webmail1.seychelles.net.’

Email will again be fully functional via all mail clients as well as through webmail from Monday January 20, 2014.

“We will make sure that this is a smooth migration,” assures Mr Deltel, “and if customers have any queries they can always call our helpline, toll free, on 100.”
