The Ministry of Social Affairs, Community Development and Sports has partnered with Centre d’Accueil de la Rosière (Car) and Parents with Hope Association to find a new way to help drug addicts.

A team from the ministry and representatives of the two bodies visited Sab Ozone Seychelles Health Tech located at O.J centre point Providence earlier this week.

The delegation was made up of the Minister for Social Affairs, Community Development and Sports  Vincent Meriton, principal secretary for social affairs Linda William-Melanie, chairperson of Parents with Hope Edna Jean and other members, director of Car Jocelyn Florentine and assistant director Gerald Julie.

Sab Ozone Seychelles Health Tech offers hydrotherapy and ozone therapy, sauna, massage, detox, chiropractic manipulation, postural alignment, natural remedies and healthcare counselling.

People suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, blood sugar problem, depression, stress, any lifestyle disease, substance and drug problem can follow treatment there.

Mrs William-Melanie said the visit aimed to give the two organisations an idea on the services being offered at the therapy centre which can help improve the lives of the drug addicts.

“We will work together to find ways that the ozone centre can help these organisations to help the victims of drug addicts,” she said.

Mrs Jean said she is happy with the outcome of the visit and it shows the ministry’s commitment towards helping the organisations involved in the fight against substance abuse.

The Sab Ozone Seychelles Health Tech is owned by James Sabadin who has been doing this for three years.
