Appointment of Appeals Board under the Public Order Act |21 February 2014

President James Michel has appointed the Appeals Board set up under the Public Order Act 2013, to hear appeals against decisions of the Commissioner of Police made under Section 8 of the Act.

The chairperson of the Appeals Board is former chief justice Ranjan Perera, and the four other members are André Valmont, Guy Ferley, Samantha Aglaé and Priscille Chetty.
