Carnival song contest: Travis Julienne grand winner |25 February 2014

Travis Julienne is the grand winner of the song contest for the 2014 Carnaval International de Victoria.

With his song Ole, Ola, en sel lavwa, Travis pockets R30,000.

In second place is Georges Payet, who won R15,000 while KJ, Extra & Regi with their song Karnaval Narive, along with Karnaval Stars (Jacob) with the song Karnaval Sesel emerge as joint third place winners, with both receiving R10,000.

The winners received their prizes during a cocktail reception on Saturday at La Plaine St Andre organised to launch the countdown to this year’s Carnaval International de Victoria which will be officially launched on April 25.
