Chinese embassy donates to Children’s Foundation |01 March 2014

The Seychelles Children’s Foundation (SCF) has received a donation of educational items and recreational games from the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Shi Zhongjun.

The donation was accepted by Jelline Quatre, director of the Seychelles Children’s Foundation, on February 4, 2014, at the foundations’ head office, Bel Eau.

Ms Quatre thanked Mr Shi for the wonderful contribution which she said will be put to good use, benefiting children in homes.

On his part, Mr Shi reassured the foundation of his embassy’s continued support in the future and affirmed his commitment to helping the less fortunate children in Seychelles.  

The ambassador said he is happy with the good collaboration that exists between the foundation and his embassy.

The sponsorship forms part of the ongoing friendship and good relationship that exist between the Chinese embassy and the SCF.
