President’s Village gets donation of baby food |05 March 2014

Capital Trading, a local wholesale firm, has donated a batch of Heinz baby food to the President’s Village.

The hand-over of the donation took place on Monday this week in the presence of village manager François Magloire, representatives from the Seychelles Children’s Foundation and Capital Trading, staff and children of the President’s Village.

It was Curtis Leopold, import and marketing manager and Roseline Nicette, business development manager of Capital Trading who handed the donation to Mr Magloire and Aurina Camille, care worker.

The President’s Village caters for orphans and children with social problems. The home has over 50 children among them more than 10 babies.

Mr Leopold said although this donation will benefit the babies there, the older kids have not been forgotten.

“We will ensure that our next donation will benefit the older kids,” Mr Leopold said.

Located at Providence, Capital Trading has official partnership with Johnson and Johnson and many more well-known brands.

For his part, Jules Hoareau of the Seychelles Children’s Foundation said: “Even if we get a budget from government we always welcome support from companies that help us to better care for the kids.

We at the Seychelles Children’s Foundation do not only care for the children in the homes but also care for kids in private households such as those with cancer, autism and more.”
