Board of the Small Business Financing Agency appointed |21 April 2014

The President’s Office has announced the appointment of the members of the Board of the Small Business Financing Agency.
All members have been appointed for a three-year period in accordance with Section 11 of the Small Business Financing Agency Act, 2013.

The full composition of the board is as follows: Doreen Arnephy (chairperson), Michel Marie (vice-chairperson), Adrian Nanty, Andrew Padayachy, Seylina Verghese, Roy Clarisse and Diana Laporte (members).

The role of the Small Business Financing Agency is to help small businesses by providing financial help through concessionary loans to promote the competitive viability of such businesses in the market and thereby contribute to the overall strengthening of the economy.
