Cycling - Arrisol wins circuit race |07 May 2014

Ahmad Arrisol became the fourth cyclist to stand of the top podium place by winning the 85.2km circuit race early Sunday morning.

Arrisol took his first win of the season after holding the challenge of the other cyclists to finish over a full minute ahead of the rest of the pack. He crossed the finish line in a time of 2 hours 6 minutes 7 seconds (2h06:07).

Second place went to race one winner Francis Louis followed by Ricky Rosalie in third position. They both finished in a time of 2h07:17 along with the rest of the field.


Life Cycle club maintained their good start to the season by earning another best team finish with an accumulated time of 6h20:41. Journey were second with 6h56:46.

The race began at Petit Paris and the riders went south towards the Roche Tortue monument at Cascade.

They then turned left onto the Providence Highway and back to Petit Paris upon reaching the Providence roundabout. The cyclists had to complete this course 12 times.
