Mihin Lanka, a low cost airline of Sri Lanka, is adding more goodies to its services.

Apart from the already existing free-in-flight meals including range of special meals, free baggage allowance and booking through GDS, the airline will be introducing a Business Class facility on board its Seychelles-Colombo-Seychelles flights as from June 1, 2014.

Seat sales are already open and the airline is now inviting its clients to hurry and make their bookings for their future travel and experience the new service.

Although a low cost airline, Mihin Lanka offers services on par with some of the major airlines that offer full frill services in their narrow body aircraft. It is the only low cost carrier that offers FREE baggage allowance of 20kg (plus 7kg hand luggage) and where passengers can carry additional baggage for a nominal fee.

It also offers in-flight services such as duty free shopping which include liquor and cigarettes, ladies’ and gents’ perfumes, miscellaneous ladies’ and gents’ gift items; personalised in-flight entertainment which include movies, concerts, dramas, documentaries and kids’ special and personalised entertainment upon demand. There are also consumable miniatures on board including kids’ meal.

Mihin Lanka codeshares with Sri Lankan Airlines which enables the former to take you to any destination you want to go.

The Business Class has been introduced based on customer feedback and demand. It plans to offer more space, comfort and personalised onboard service for its business class passengers.
The airline operates two flights a week – on Tuesday and Saturday – from Seychelles to Colombo, Sri Lanka.
