Vice President Faure attends COL’s board meeting |12 June 2014

Vice-President Danny Faure is in Vancouver, Canada to attend the 31st meeting of the Board of Governors of the Commonwealth of Learning (COL)  which opened yesterday.

Vice-President Faure is representing the Africa Region which consists of 18 Commonwealth member states.

The Board of Governors of COL was established by the Commonwealth Heads of Government in September 1988.  

COL is an intergovernmental organisation created by Commonwealth Heads of Government, 25 years ago, to encourage the development and sharing of open learning/ distance education knowledge, resources and technologies.

COL is helping developing nations improve access to quality education and training.
