Ephelia Resort bids farewell to regional GM |14 June 2014

After five years as the regional general manager (GM) for the Constance Hotels and Resorts group, Philippe Guitton will be leaving the Constance Ephelia Seychelles.

He joined the hotel during the pre-opening phase and prior to that, he spent three years on Praslin, as the GM of the Constance Lemuria Seychelles from 2006 to 2009.

During the five years that Mr Guitton has been working with the Constance Ephélia Resort here in Seychelles, he has demonstrated a high level of professionalism in his duties both towards the staff of the resort and to the guests.

With his expertise and knowledge of five star hotels, he has helped to build a stellar reputation for the Constance Ephelia Seychelles both in the archipelago and worldwide.

Mr Guitton, together with his management team and staff, has also contributed in helping the communities around the hotel, focusing his efforts on children.

The government of Seychelles has attached a great importance to the protection of the environment and Constance Ephelia Seychelles has always been a beacon of the industry in that respect, being 100% sustainable in terms of water and electricity.

Mr Guitton also promoted the conservation of the eco-system around the resort and in Seychelles. He helped Ephelia put a lot of emphasis on the rehabilitation of the mangrove forest in Port Launay.
Upon his departure, Mr Guitton will be replaced in his duties by Jean-Marc Lagesse who has over 30 years of experience in the hotel and tourism industry, managing two five-star resorts in Mauritius.

The management and staff of the Constance Ephelia Resort would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Mr Guitton for his hard work and wish him and his family good luck in his future endeavours.
On this same note the resort would like to welcome Mr Lagesse to Constance Ephelia Seychelles.
