Kempinski resort welcomes new GM |09 August 2014

After successfully leading Kempinski Hotel Aqaba Red Sea for two years, Masami Egami becomes the new general manager of Kempinski Seychelles Resort at Baie Lazare.

Mr Egami has over 24 years of international experience in the hospitality industry from various chains such as Hilton, InterContinental and Le Meridien, before joining Kempinski in 2010 as the hotel manager at Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea and thereafter as the general manager for Kempinski Hotel Aqaba Red Sea in 2012.

Both properties were consistently awarded with impressive titles, such as the ‘Best Hotel in Jordan’ in 2011 and the ‘Best Hotel Among Kempinski Hotels Worldwide’ during his leadership.

As the new general manager at Kempinski Seychelles Resort, Mr Egami’s objective is to further enrich guests’ experiences through European luxury hospitality on the island of Mahé.

Mr Egami holds a diploma in management studies from the Greenwich School of Management in London England, a certificate in business administration from the University of Hull in Hull, England and certificates of different leadership and management essentials from the Cornell University.
A Japanese national, Mr Egami is fluent in Japanese and English.
