Fisherman’s Cove rewards long serving staff |27 August 2014

Forty staff of Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove have been rewarded for their long years of service at the hotel.

At a ceremony held last Friday at the hotel’s premises at Bel Ombre, they were rewarded for having clocked five and 10 years with the hotel.

They received token of appreciations, cash prizes and certificates from the hotel’s general manager Wael Rashed, assisted by Maxime Rachel, director of operations and Peter Moncherry, general manager of the Hotel d’Application at the Seychelles Tourism Academy.

“The hotel believes in giving both our guests and associates the sense of affiliation and growth besides delivering a beautiful service as well as a memorable experience. The forty long serving associates who would be rewarded today are truly proof of our culture,” said Mr Rashed.

He said the occasion marked a milestone of achievement for the hotel’s longest serving associates.

“For the past years you have contributed towards success of Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove and for the short time that I have been here as your leader I have been able to see the amount of effort and commitment you have displayed at work and I assure you it is highly appreciated. It is with this continued dedication and loyalty that you are able to overcome many challenges and convert them into opportunities to deliver world class service and achieving outstanding results,” said Mr Rashed.

The hotel’s GM also informed the staff that no matter what their department or their role they have all played their part to excel and the hotel cannot thank them enough for their attention to those minute details which really make the difference in guest experience and loyalty.

Mr Rashed expressed his hope that the staff will serve the hotel for many years to come as he believes the future with the hotel has unlimited potential for associates who have the  right attitude, commitment and dedication in excellence.
