VP Faure at the Africa Global Business Forum 2014 |02 October 2014

Vice-President Danny Faure is representing the Head of State, President James Michel, at the 2nd Africa Global Business Forum (AGBF) being held in Dubai.

The October 1-2 forum is being organised by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.

The aim of the AGBF is to encourage international revenue flows into Africa by engaging leading decision makers on the global investment scene.

Delegates at the forum will have a platform to discuss current challenges and business opportunities in finance, agribusiness, logistics and trade across the economic blocs of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (Ecowas), the South African Development Community (SADC) and the African Union (AU) among others.

The forum will also highlight Dubai’s role as an international gateway to Africa and give a flavour of what the African continent has to offer in terms of investment and tourism.

Vice-President Faure is accompanied by the Seychelles ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Dick Esparon.
