Trade division has its own website |06 October 2014

The trade division launched its new website last week at the National Tender Board at the Maison de Mahé.

It was Finance, Trade and Investment Minister Pierre Laporte who launched the website known as ‘Seychelles Trade Portal’, in the presence of the principal secretary for economic policy, trade and investment Steve Fanny, other senior government officials as well as representatives of the private sector.

The website, which is said to be user friendly, will provide information about the latest trade and other news.

It also has a comprehensive list of all trade laws, revenue administration act, bio-security law and consumer protection act.

Minister Laporte has described this portal as a useful tool for all stakeholders and also the government in their quest to enhance transparency of our trade regime.
