Last chance to nominate the next generation of Commonwealth leaders |11 October 2014
It’s only days before entries close for the Queen’s Young Leaders nominations and applications. If you, or someone you know, is doing extraordinary things to improve lives in the Commonwealth, make sure you apply now at www.queensyoungleaders.com!
Archbishop Desmond Tutu said this week about the programme; “I believe young people are especially empowered and impassioned to change our world for the better. The Queen's Young Leaders programme celebrates, rewards and supports young people throughout the Commonwealth. I urge young South Africans and their peers across the Commonwealth to apply for The Queen's Young Leaders Award. Let's discover inspirational young people together.”
18-29 year olds from all countries in the Commonwealth can apply to be a 2014 Queen’s Young Leader in honour of Her Majesty’s 60 years as Head of the Commonwealth.
