‘Win Wheels with Takamaka Bay’ promotion |18 October 2014

Antonio Dailloo drives away in new Hyundai IX35

Anybody must be dumbstruck if someone calls to say that he or she has won a brand new car worth nearly R500,000.

So did Antonio Dailloo when Chantal from Trois Frères Distillery called him to announce that he was the lucky winner of the ‘Win Wheels with Takamaka Bay’ promotion.

“Having a lot of friends who like to play pranks on one another, I just dismissed as a prank a text I received telling me that I am the winner of an IX35. I thought it was one of my friends who was pulling my leg. It was only after I was persuaded to go to the Trois Frères Distillery that I was convinced I was the lucky winner of a brand new IX35,” Mr Dailloo said happily.

Mr Dailloo received the keys of his new car at a special gathering at La Plaine St André, Au Cap from Richard D’Offay, one of the company’s owners.
Mr Dailloo was so overwhelmed that he could not wipe the smile off his face.

“I think that I will keep it. Even if I won the car through the purchase of the Takamaka Bay rum I will like to advise my friends and every one to drink responsibly and not to consume alcohol while driving,” Mr Dailloo advised.

According to the terms and conditions of the promotion, immediate family members of the Trois Frères Distillery staff could participate, as well as the retailers. The latter whose sales growth were higher during the promotion were rewarded, and this went to MRKV from Anse Aux Pins. The store owner won two return tickets to any destination in India. Durai Foret Noire, who had the second highest sales growth, won two return tickets to Mauritius.

During the ceremony Mr D’Offay announced that there will be another promotion from December to March next year whereby the clients will win amazing prizes.
