Le Relax hosts Grand Anse Mahé disabled to lunch |22 October 2014

A group of people with disability were hosted to a lunch at Le Relax Hotel, Anse Royale on Sunday.

The lunch, comprising mainly Indian dishes, was made possible with the collaboration of the hotel, Allied Builders Ltd and the Grand Anse district authority.

The elected member of the National Assembly for Grand Anse Mahé, Lenny Lebon, said that the district authority always try to find ways to entertain its disabled people so that they  enjoy themselves, interact with one another, meet other people and to see other places.

Pravin Darad, the managing director of Le Relax Hotel and of Allied Allied Builders noted that the lunch formed part of the Diwali celebration, the Hindu festival of lights that was celebrated the day before.

“As a result of the good collaboration our companies have with the district through Hon. Lebon, we will hold this event every year for the district’s disabled,” he assured.

Also present at the lunch were Dan Frichot, the advisor to the Minister for Social Affairs, Community Development and Sports; district administrator Raymonde Benstrong and some other guests who were supervising the disabled.

After enjoying lunch, they relaxed a little and viewed the beautiful sunny bay of Anse Royale before heading back home.
