New slot house in town |29 November 2014

The ‘Gran Kaz Entertainment Centre’ opened its doors to members of the public earlier this week at the Mercury House on Francis Rachel Street.

It was the Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St Ange who had the honour of cutting the ribbon to officially declare the entertainment centre open in the presence of high government officials, distinguished guests and Gran Kaz staff members.

The Mercury building has been transformed into a picturesque, safe and authentic landmark with all modern conveniences and state -of-the art fixtures and fittings, making one of Seychelles’ heritage buildings a source of pride and adulation.

Addressing the guests, Minister St Ange said: “It gives me great pride to be here to see something new with a marriage of culture and tourism and turning it into a business. We have to often look at how we continue to protect what we have in historical sites and it is this house that has been redone from scratch and keeping its structure to remain what it was – a historical building in Victoria.”

Offering the latest, most technology advanced slot machines, Gran Kaz opens seven days a week from 10am to 2am and it offers people aged 18 years and over a modern and the convenience of smart, cashless gaming with both traditional reel slot machines and the latest multi-line video slots.
