Allied Builders host pupils with hearing impairment to lunch |24 December 2014

A group of pupils with hearing impairment and their teachers were the special guests at a lunch on Saturday hosted by Allied Builders (Seychelles) Limited.

It was a group of excited pupils of different ages who joined Pravin Valji Darad, managing director of Allied Builders, and his family as well as a few other guests for the special lunch and an afternoon of fun in the swimming pool at Le Relax Hotel, Fairyland.

After a copious lunch the pupils also received Christmas gifts which were distributed by Mr Darad himself and his family.

The chairperson of the Association for People with Hearing Impairment Anita Gardner took the opportunity to thank Mr Darad and his family for this wonderful Christmas gift to the pupils which he has been offering for several years now.

Mr Darad noted that Christmas is a time of sharing and it is good to share some of the joy with those special pupils. He called on them to enjoy themselves and have as much fun in the pool, something the pupils did until late afternoon.
