Airtel rewards ‘love is in the air’ promotion winner |05 March 2015

Adriana Henriette was the lucky 1st prize winner of Airtel’s Valentine’s ‘love is in the air’ data promotion, clinching a return ticket to Venice, Italy sponsored by the telecommunications company.

Mrs Henriette received the ticket reward recently from Airtel’s marketing director Alex Wekoye.

“I would like to encourage all of our Seychellois clients to be on our 4G service, which we are still adjusting so that it can be more affordable and readily available on the islands,” Mr Wekoye said.

Overwhelmed with excitement, Mrs Henriette thanked Airtel and said this will be a trip of a life time and to a place where many people dream to travel to.

Mrs Henriette’s husband, Gilbert Henriette, is a taxi driver in Paris and she believes that it is high time they indulge in a stress free romantic vacation.

The couple met each other when Mrs Henriette was only 16 years old and they got married here in Seychelles in 2009. They stayed in Paris for some 21 years before Mrs Henriette decided to come back to live in Seychelles.

“I was tired of the snow and the cold,” she said. However her husband stayed in Paris to work and take care of some personal matters before he too can come back for good. The couple has three kids -- two boys aged 15 and 6 years and a 13-year-old girl.

Mrs Henriette will soon be reunited with her husband.

She is travelling to Venice with her friend Rosabelle Noel-Bradburn who is also a cousin of her husband’s.
