The police have reported that they are conducting an investigation in an incident whereby an 81-year-old woman was on Friday night admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at the Seychelles Hospital after she was found wounded at her residence at Cayole Estate, Anse Aux Pins.

According to the police, the suspect in this case is the victim’s 50-year-old daughter, who turned herself in shortly after the incident, stating that she had stabbed her mother.

The victim, who received several injuries, is said to be in a stable condition.
As for the daughter she was admitted to the Les Cannelles Wellness Centre, Anse Royale.
The incident was reported to the police at around 6.03pm on March 27, 2015
