Joseph Louise weighs in with Anba Lao |17 April 2015

Artiste Joseph Louise released his latest album entitled Anba Lao earlier this week. The album is a collection of remix of some of his old hits along with three new releases.

Renowned for his segas and slows but mostly for the lyrics of his songs that so aptly capture the subtleties of the Creole psyche, Louise told Seychelles Nation that he made sure that this album reaches the market in time for Labour Day as the song Valer Travayer commemorates this important day of the year.

Valer Travayer celebrates the work ethics and comes down hard on the abled bodies who refuse to work or do shabby jobs.

The other two new releases on the new album are Parwaze lo Praslin, Louise’s native island, and Maler. The old hits that have been remixed include Ti Lenbesil, Responsabilite Nou Fiy and Dezagreman i ek li.
Anba Lao is a co-production with Guyton Mondon.
