Sesel I Annan Talan singing contest winners leave for Indonesia |25 April 2015

Audrey Philoe and Shamma Damoo, the two grand winners of last year’s fifth Sesel I Annan Talan singing contest, leave the country this weekend for Indonesia where they will perform and enjoy a cultural exchange.

They will spend one week there. The trip to Indonesia forms part of their prizes won at the Sesel I Annan Talan singing contest in May 2014.

Jj Spirit Foundation chairman Lise Bastienne presented the two talented signers with their travel documents and allowance at a ceremony held at the Jj Spirit Foundation headquarters at the Espace building this week.

During their visit to Jakarta, they will take part in radio and TV talk shows, including two TV talk shows on Trans TV and Metro TV. They will also take part in cultural exchanges, attend several high level promotional events and have the opportunity to perform before an Indonesian audience.

All this has been made possible by the generous sponsorship of one of the foundation’s board directors Nico Barrito.
It is a great opportunity for the two young ladies to show their talent outside Seychelles.

They both confirmed their excitement in undertaking the trip and look forward to visiting Indonesia, especially enjoying the experience of performing for a new audience, meeting new people and enjoying the Indonesian hospitality and culture.

Ms Damoo and Ms Philoe will be accompanied by Renette Bonne, events coordinator at the Jj Spirit Foundation.
