New political party Lalyans Seselwa leader Patrick Pillay and secretary general Ahmed Afif have handed over the application to chief electoral commissioner Hendricks Gappy to register their political party.

In a press communiqué which the Seychelles NATION received on Saturday April 25, Lalyans Seselwa said the party handed in their documents to Mr Gappy on Friday April 24.

The communiqué adds that the electoral commission will now consider the application and will subsequently inform Lalyans Seselwa of its decision.

“Lalyans Seselwa will be based in the Soleil building at Mont Fleuri, more precisely near the Good Shepherd’s church and we welcome all Seychellois to become members once we get the official registration. As soon as registration is approved, Lalyans Seselwa will hold a press conference for all media houses,” adds the communiqué.
