Denis, Lemuria, Ephelia and L’Archipel enter TripAdvisor Hall of Fame |22 May 2015

Four major tourism resorts in Seychelles have now entred the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame after winning the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years running.

Denis Private Island, Constance Lemuria and Ephelia resorts, as well as L’Archipel are the four establishments which have received this prestigious accolade.

TripAdvisor's annual TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence awards can only be earned by receiving consistently great reviews on the world's largest travel site tripadvisor.com.

Since 2011, Denis Private Island has won a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in recognition of its sterling repertoire among guests and visitors to the island.

Denis Private Island, where you can 'Experience barefoot luxury at its finest,' is the exclusive island getaway in Seychelles that offers a unique island experience – private beach front chalets open onto an expanse of white sand, activities abound in the safe, crystalline waters around the island, conservation projects ensure the ecosystem remains pristine and the island's own organic farm provides fresh produce to the hotels kitchen (and a great activity for the kids to discover).

With the achievements of Lémuria and Ephélia, all of Constance Hotels and Resorts’ properties (Constance Le Prince Maurice and Constance Belle Mare Plage in Mauritius, Constance Lémuria and Constance Ephélia in the Seychelles, Constance Halaveli and Constance Moofushi in the Maldives as well as Constance Tsarabanjina in Madagascar) have been recognised as TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame winners.

“Being awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence five years in a row for all our properties in Mauritius, Seychelles, Maldives and Madagascar and inducted into the ‘Hall of Fame’ is a true source of pride for the entire team of Constance Hotels and Resorts and we would like to seize the occasion to thank all our past guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor,” said Jean-Jacques Vallet, chief executive of the group.

“There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by one’s customers. Listening to our guests always sits at the heart of our business strategy.  We put the customer at the centre of everything we do, and our success is built on listening and talking directly with them. With the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence based on customer reviews, the accolade is a remarkable vote of confidence to our business and our continued commitment to excellence,” he added.

Commenting on L’Archipel’s feat, owner Louis D’Offay said: “We believe in offering the very best and being awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence five years in a row now and being inducted into the ‘Hall of Fame’ reassures us that we are indeed on the right path. I am truly proud of my dedicated team. On behalf of Hotel L’Archipel, I would like to thank all of our guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor, there is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by one’s customers.”

When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honorees that takes into account the quality, quantity and recent reviews and opinions submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period as well as businesses’ tenure and ranking on the Popularity Index on the site.  To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
