Venessa Larue’s hairdressing salon at Anse Boileau’s ex-bazar |23 May 2015

Venessa Larue’s hairdressing salon is situated up the road at the ex-bazar at Anse Boileau and not at Cap Ste Marie as written in the article entitled ‘Young people urged to start own business’ published in our yesterday issue.

President James Michel visited Ms Larue’s salon on Thursday morning as he continued with his visits to businesses in the Anse Boileau and Anse Royale districts.

Mr Michel and his delegation also visited Louis Loizeau’s craft workshop, Leonie Barra’s farm where they were given a demonstration of the preparation of galet (cassava bread), Kenny Jouanneau’s farm, Tony Tirant’s poultry and egg farm, Conrad Louis-Marie’s residence where he produces chips from banana and cassava, Rowny Vidot’s coffee and spice packaging workshop, prominent artist Danilo Albert who suffers from a rare disease that limits his movement, Veronique Morel’s Le Cannellier and her flower arrangement business, former ambassador Marc Marengo’s Kot Man-Ya exotic flower garden, and Jacques Matombé’s farm at Anse Royale.

The accompanying photos show some of the businesses that President Michel visited at Anse Boileau and Anse Royale on Thursday.
